I feel like this was a much better hypothetical than a literal production, but has its moments – the Borat sequel has more or less faded from my mind at this point, but I would think that Cohen could have squeezed all the inspiration from this as a cutaway during the movie, and you can definitely feel the padding here, even in its short format. Not particularly funny and almost a bit sad, given Borat’s room-mates seem like genuinely sincere and well-meaning nutters.
