Ash and friends reach the Dewford Gym at last, but the Gym Leader, Brawly, would rather surf than battle. Disgusted at this apparent lack of work ethic, Ash marches out into the waves and demands a Gym battle immediately! But when the battle begins, Ash is too headstrong to see the flaws in his strategy.
