I decided to give this a go a few years ago knowing very little about it. There is around 12 hours of material total to view, it started very simply on the internet only and evolved from there. It's rather unique style takes a while to get used to, I suggest using patience as it will really begin to suck you in. The character development becomes better and better for the four main characters. The animation and sound greatly improve through time as well, as the creators were on a minuscule budget

A fascinating and engaging series. Some (or most) will be turned off by the slow pacing and flowery hipster writing, but it's worth checking out. (The ending kicks ass, if that helps)
