Complication
Full-time college student Kimimaro works his fingers to the bone, but he's still flat broke. That is until an odd fellow invites him to the Financial District, a parallel world where he can increase his cash flow--if he'll invest his future as collateral.
Coincidence
After being hurled into the Financial District and meeting his asset, Mashu--a petite girl with candy-striped antlers--Kimimaro is forced into a deal against an opponent who wastes no time launching staggering attacks with his monstrous asset.
Conspiracy
While searching for clues about why he was chosen to be an Entrepreneur, Kimimaro makes an unsettling discovery after finding a notebook filled with numbers in his family's storage. Meanwhile, an investigator following Mikuni takes interest in Kimimaro.
Conversion
When Kimimaro's second deal is a desperate wager against one of his own professors, he gets a lesson on how devastating the consequences can be in real life. Later, Mikuni makes Kimimaro a tempting offer to join his Starling Guild.
Cultivation
Kimimaro learns the hard way that keeping a tight margin during a deal is quite a gamble if he doesn't have Mashu's trust. While deals in the Financial District continue to affect Japan, Mikuni deposits more of his wealth into the suffering economy.
Conflict
Kimimaro's new strategic approach to deals pays off with a decent winning streak. But when his next opponent offers him a bribe to forfeit, the young Entre is caught in existential conflict over his investment in the Starling Guild.
Composition
A look into Mikuni's past reveals his introduction to the cold world of business, money and power. Later, the ever-curious Mashu analyzes her Entrepreneur's behavior, calculating what makes him different from everyone else in the Financial District.
Confidence
Japan suffers severe losses as a neighboring Financial District nears bankruptcy. While Kimimaro tries to undo the damage he dealt to his professor's future, Mikuni formulates an expensive plan to save an entire region from being erased from existence.
Collapse
Entire countries go off the map or endure devastating changes as a chain reaction - called "C" - sweeps across the Asian continent. A desperate move to save Japan is not without its deficits, and Kimimaro discovers another connection with his dad.
Collision
America's Financial District repels C, sending the chain reaction right back towards Japan. When Mizuni's next move proves even more costly than the last, Sato banks on a plan to send him into bankruptcy--but the window of opportunity is small.
Control
The value of yen plummets, and the citizens of Japan enter a total state of panic. With C threatening to wipe out Japan completely, the country's future relies on the result of a heated clash between Kimimaro and Mikuni in a deal to end all deals.
