Janice informs Gareth that she is leaving him, meanwhile a new American chef named Savanna causes havoc in the kitchen.

The new owner of the restaurant demands his spoiled daughter is given a role in the kitchen, where she performs spectacularly badly, Everton however is smitten.

Cyril wants Gareth to mingle with the customers. He is terrified of it. Janice wants to make progress with the divorce.

Renee is in seventh heaven because of her new boyfriend. This hurts Everton because he still has feelings for her, while Cyril hopes Renee's boyfriend is not the kind of bum she usually falls in love with. Gareth however has bigger fish to fry when he hears his father will be visiting. Already he can hear his father's laughter when he tells him Janice has left him.

Gareth meets old time friend Rochelle while arranging a wedding at Le Chateau for Everton's cousin Chantel. Cyril falls in love with Savanna.
