Fumie Hirabayashi (Aimi Satsukawa), an inpatient who had complained of general lassitude and pain in her right shoulder, was found to have hepatic hemangiosarcoma, a type of malignant tumor, after a thorough examination. The number of patients at Dojo General Hospital has plummeted due to the selfish behavior of Acting Director Moriyama (Masanobu Takashima). Upon returning from vacation, Director Tamaki (Yoko Nogi) is furious at the hospital she has been protecting, but Moriyama seems completely unconcerned. Seeing him like this, Sasai (Shana Bokuzo) and the other members of Team Moriyama begin to wonder seriously whether they should stay at the hospital.
Tamaki (Yoko Nogi) is determined to turn around Dojo General Hospital, which has fallen into disrepair in her absence, and has embarked on a full-scale reform of the hospital, including cutting the salaries of executives, prohibiting doctors from driving their own cars to work, and banning lavish deliveries to the hospital. However, Moriyama (Masanobu Takashima), the most important person in the hospital, is completely uninterested and shows no signs of change.
A sense of crisis makes a team stronger. Sagara's strategy was successful, and the doctors' awareness gradually increased. However, despite the pleas of Tamaki (Yoko Nogi) and Momoi (Takehiko Ono), Moriyama (Masanobu Takashima) is still the only one left out of the loop. Moriyama (Masanobu Takashima) is the only one who is left out. Sasai (Bokuzo Masana) and the other members of Team Moriyama are at their wit's end, as Moriyama sulks without any manners.
Moriyama (Masanobu Takashima) is offered by Jyunzaburo Mando (Shinya Owada) of the giant medical group, Manjunkai, to sell Dojo General Hospital for 5 billion yen, and after being entertained at a fancy restaurant, Moriyama becomes more and more interested in the idea. Sagara (Kazuki Sawamura) tells Tamaki (Yoko Nogi) that he intends to leave Dojo, and shows her a photo of a secret meeting between Moriyama and Mando obtained from Shoko (Saori Takizawa), stirring up a sense of further crisis.
Fuchimori (Yuta Kanai) suddenly complained of abdominal pain, and his condition has settled down for the time being, but his doctor, Moriyama (Masanobu Takashima), is caught between Mando (Shinya Owada) and Tamaki (Yoko Nogiwa), and seems distracted. Then one day, Hiroko Kubo (Satomi Achiba), a woman suffering from an intractable disease that clogs the blood vessels in her liver, visits the hospital.
Dojo General Hospital is no longer waiting to be taken over. Sagara (Kazuki Sawamura) goes to a hospital in Hokkaido to prepare for a living domino liver transplant, but an accident forces him to perform the surgery at Dojo. If he succeeds in this ultra-high-level surgery, the hospital's trust in him will be quickly restored. The medical staff is excited by this unexpected opportunity, but Moriyama (Masanobu Takashima) is the only one who objects.
