Conceptually a mess, executed clumsily and finally fully derailed by COVID. Not sure the film makers even understood what point they were trying to make.

'Fake Famous' does a good job of showing us what's behind what we already knew - social media celebrity is just another avenue for advertising. It clearly has its benefits, but comes at a cost for some. But more than anything, seeming successful is just as valuable as actually being successful - which then becomes self-fulfilling.
