Better Call Saul, up to this point, had been a humorous look at one of the many interesting side characters from Breaking Bad. Five-O completely flips the script on this and delivers one of the most powerful moments in this franchise's run. Jonathon Banks puts in the performance of a lifetime, managing to deliver complex and heartfelt feelings in what is likely the most tragic backstory in this show's run of tragic backstories.
