A weird reboot choice, with a lot of voice-over overlap with "Arthur." It is semi-competent, but with a large cast of supporting characters and limited available voice actors, it is feels like deja vu with each different episode. Animation ranges from clever to very clunky, and the underwater sequences are hit-and-miss. The talking sea-life is another strange thing that the live-action series didn't bother with. Only for the mermaid maniac in your house.
