I decided I didn't like straight Shakespeare stuff after seeing two Olivier films, mostly because although I enjoy reading his work, I have trouble digesting it coming from the mouths of actors. These BBC versions are very low budget, and the majority of what they did have was spent on the actors. Therefore without any interesting visuals aid, art design, etc., the focus is entirely on the words and performances. Both of which are excellent by the way, but I needn't mention that for the former.
