2023's big Swedish crime mystery provides a lot of curiosity, but considering the hype I was expecting more. They switched back and forth between characters and time (1973 and 1991) too much. Sure, that kept the allure, but at the cost of not really getting under the skin of those involved. They never kept the focus too long on a specific character. But even with that, there was a lot of mystique and it did hook me until the end, even with its deliberate sluggish pace.
