The series takes place in 1968 in the fictional town of Zell in the Ebersberg district. The music-mad young farmer 'Sir Quickly' Alfons Kerschbaumer experiences this time of social upheaval with his friends, the car mechanic Sepp and the high school student 'Effendi'. Entanglements in love affairs and rebellion against the authorities of family and society lead the three into all sorts of adventures. (imdb)
