Pulp's Jarvis Cocker undertakes a search for 'outsider architecture', including the Palais Idéal in France and the Watts Towers in Los Angeles, in an attempt to understand why people build extraordinary and obsessive constructions with no reference to the conventions and working practices of mainstream architecture.
