A gifted, and politically-active actress, Vanessa Redgrave has been all over both the large and small screens for decades. She's been nominated multiple times for a best actress Oscar, and is a part of an acting family. Tragically, her daughter, actress Natasha Richardson, died in March 2009 in a freak skiing accident.
