Let's surrender to the lamentable inevitability that most Netflix shows are just not capable of being good in a sustained way. They'll dumb it down, lay it on too thick, or play it safe according to what they think their target demographic wants. Momentary hints of artistic integrity - the way Midjourney AI is sometimes capable of making something sincerely weird & beautiful but for the most part, it's still a watered down imitation of real art. Mostly, this show is cynical & a little sadistic.
