I imagine this holds your attention better if you've seen the first show, which I have not. The plots and the writing are too glib and pat to be actually interesting, If you're looking for any sort of complexity to your...um, drama?...look elsewhere.

It's not that the show is bad, it's just not great. The story is formulaic, which is fine, but there aren't that many surprises left. Also, it's so annoying how they imply in almost every single episode that wanting compensation for the damages done to you means your complaint is less than worthy. Also, I hate when they go out of their way to replace the old cast with young cast. It's not the same show when everyone gets replaced at once.
