Lost in Oz is aimed at young children, but that doesn't stop it from having some great emotional moments, and a story with decent complexity. The main themes are of friendship and responsibility, a safe and apt direction to take. The mythology of Oz has been altered slightly but its colourful aesthetic and design choices are more than palpable. While the 1st season is better than the 2nd, it remains enjoyable throughout. The high rating is partly due to S01E01 11:11.
