This review contains spoilers. Liam really is the star of this story, his emotions and attitude toward a world that has continually let him down really driving the plot. His lack of surprise, just cold disappointment when Michael accuses him of assault tells us all we need to know about his experience of life. When topic of conversation turns to Michael it always seems rushed, Michael is a side note in this story, his trauma just serving as a background to 'the problem of Liam'.
