This film tries incredibly hard to create a sense of suspicion and paranoia in the audience. What it actually creates is catastrophic boredom. The state of paranoia it tries to induce is dragged out for so long that you lose any interest in the already slim plot. The music is a perpetual long low note that precedes the sting and the jump which never comes. Any intrigue is entirely in your own mind due to giving the film way too much credit for being skilfully made, when it is, in fact, inept
