Uninspired sports/cultural/generational drama attempts a shambolic mix of genre tropes without really bothering to explore any of them, outside of using them for fairly cheap and distasteful titillation (especially the lesbian coupling). Some half hearted stabs at poignancy in the father-daughter dynamic between Chamoun and Naor work best, but its nothing we haven't seen in a hundred other "black sheep" narratives. Always nice to see Thompson turn up, even under-utilised as a shady promoter.
