Jodelle Ferland debuted as a child actress in the TV film Mermaid (2000) for which she won a Young Artist Award. Her career progressed with roles in the TV film Carrie (2002), and films Tideland (2005) and Silent Hill (2006). She also led the TV series Kingdom Hospital (2004).
