Season 1 - During the month of October of his third year in high school, Koyomi Araragi is introduced to a transfer student named Ougi Oshino by his underclassman Kanbaru Suruga. Ougi tells Koyomi that she has something she wishes to consult with him. When she draws the map of Naoetsu High School, she finds something peculiar. This discovery reveals a tale that wasn't meant to be told, and this makes Koyomi's high school life totally different. October 24th. Suruga introduces a transfer student Ougi Oshino to Koyomi. According to a self-introduction, she is Meme's niece and likes solving a mystery. Ougi asks Koyomi for help to solve a mystery which she found in audio-visual room at their high school. (imdb)
The morning of October 25th. Koyomi meets Sodachi again, but she has hated him yet that's why she conflicts with Hitagi. Koyomi learns he and Sodachi were classmates when they were middle school students, so he visits middle school where they attended with Ougi to look for a clue to solve the problem in the afternoon.
A day of the summer, 5 years ago. Koyomi visited a vacant house with a invitation letter. A girl was waiting for him, and then, they studied mathematics together. He kept going to the house everyday, but a last day of summer vacation, she suddenly left without saying anything to him. --- Listening to the story, Ougi reminds Koyomi that she and Sodachi are...
October 27th. Koyomi and Tsubasa head to Sodachi's house because she was absent from school for 2 days. Ougi wants to go together, but Tsubasa rejects her offer. Tsubasa has some doubt as to what she intends.
Last night, Koyomi learned his parents temporarily had taken Sodachi into protective custody at his house for a very short while 6 years ago, but he remembers nothing about it. --- Koyomi and Tsubasa visit Sodachi. He broaches the subject of her parents.
Koyomi and Tsubasa promise Sodachi to search for her missing mother, and go out. When they talk about questions in this case at a nearby square, Ougi appears again in front of them.
The night of August 23th. Koyomi meets Suruga at abandoned cram school building. Koyomi has to lead her to Izuko in a hurry because he doesn't have the link of vampire. However, a strong oddity with samurai armor makes an assault on them, and what is worse, the building burst into mysterious flames while they are fighting.
Yotsugi saved Koyomi and Suruga from the fire, and runs after the oddity. Although Koyomi and Suruga head for the park where Mayoi had stayed, they get lost their way due to the curse of snail.
August 24th, the date has changed. Shinobu joined Koyomi and Suruga at the park. Then, an oddity suddenly attacks them, it looks like a mixed Rainy-devil and Omoshi-kani.

The early morning of August 24th. Izuko explains the situation to Koyomi, Shinobu and Suruga at Kita-shirahebi shrine. She tells them that the original oddity slayer Seishiro Shishirui was resurrected as the first minion of the king of oddities Kiss-shot aka Shinobu. They have to find him before he kills human.

Koyomi happened to meet human-shaped Seishiro. He wants to continue his relationship with Kiss-shot aka Shinobu, so he makes an attempt on Koyomi's life. Meanwhile, Suruga strongly advises Shinobu to take Seishiro seriously.

The night of August 24th. Although the time of the duel between Koyomi and Seishiro is getting close, Koyomi learns that something happened to Tsubasa. And what is worse, Izuko informs him that Hitagi is also in danger.
