This story of one man's campaign to free his son from a lengthy jail sentence for a crime he didn't commit is based upon a true story. Bobby McLoughlin is the incorrectly jailed man, framed for a murder he didn't commit. His adopted father, Harold Hohne,and mother, Mary Hohne, stage a monumental campaign to clear Bobby's name, but taking on the legal system that incarcerated his son proves to be a sizeable task for Harold.
