while THE ERIC ANDRE SHOW is primarily SPACE GHOST C2C worship, i think BETWEEN TWO FERNS is more derived from jiminy glick, whose show i've just noticed is on here. much as i love them to varying degrees, the aforementioned shows can occasionally feel overcalculated in their absurdity, whereas martin short is such a magnetic performer and improviser that these interviews don't seem remotely preconceived, despite glick's persona being the trickiest to conceptualise and pull off. dude's a genius.
