Agreeably benign nature documentary is well filmed, (like most similar modern productions), with a sometimes startlingly intimate look at its central creatures and the eco-systems they inhabit. Also like other modern productions, there seems to be a dividing line between “Attenborough” and “not Attenborough”, and that line casts its shadow on this production as well. Still enjoyable, with Byrne’s warm and friendly narration only occasionally side-stepping into irritating cuteness.
