I enjoyed it because I will watch literally anything but considering I was going into it expecting a more upbeat vibe like Bridgerton has, I was a bit disappointed. It did make me cry though and I did love the characters.

Does a great job of showing the joys and challenges of a lifelong marriage while still keeping the fun, romance, and beauty of the main Bridgerton series.

A generally interesting and well-performed portrait of "mad" King George, which offers its cast a fun opportunity to lean in to bodice-ripping, bitchy melodrama (Fairley's icy disdain is a definite highlight), providing a surprisingly multi-faceted and sympathetic portrait of George's affliction. That it really does nothing with the "colour-blind" casting conceit is disappointing; an era-specific examination of the changed racial dynamics might have given the series more resonance.

It was just okay

Well, you cant beat a bit of Bridgeton inspired bodice-ripping historical melodrama ... unless there is more bodice ripping... or any at all really!. This was incredibly well made, superbly acted, and the old young combinations of actors simply superb. Top marks for the casting! The only thing was that I watched this some 3 months after Marie Antonette from the BBC, and the similarity of the tale (at last that displayed on screen) was striking. What was it with those young blokes those days ?!

İlk bölümler itibariyle biraz da üzülerek de olsa puanım bu yönde.. Bridgerton'u keyifle izleyen biriyim ama Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story'de gözüme fazlasıyla yapay gelen şeyler oldu. Elbette artık kraliyet temalı dizi izlemekten bıkkınlık gelmesi de bunda bir etken olabilir.. Hiç beğenmedim.
