Being unfamiliar with his style, Youssef seems to struggle a little getting into his groove, with an opening segment about virtue shaming/signalling not quite landing, otherwise he seems to be in a lecturing mode ala Lenny Bruce, which could work if his observations were a little sharper and more succinct, rather than leading us around the garden path. Enjoyed it more once his rhythm picked up at the halfway point, but this is still a lumpy set that’s not quite as insightful as it thinks it is.
