This originally aired in the Hallmark Hall of Fame's final season on NBC before they ditched it for poor ratings (I'm sure the two events are entirely unrelated...). The plot is straight out of a 70s family sit-com ("It's for a student council benefit!"). Taylor is fairly plump at this point, and the proceedings low-key--she seemed to feel she could relax into it. It's dumb, but rather sweet--keep your expectations low and it's a reasonably enjoyable hour-plus.
