So this is essentially a Roman version of Vikings. It's early Roman period, all in Latin (which enhances its authenticity for me) and is tribal. You could call the lead protagonist(s) (Yemos and Wiros) as overall 'good guys' and Amulius a 'bad guy', but they all have their reasons for what they do. Superstition and ritualism function as major plot drivers just as it does in Vikings.
