A captivating isekai anime with a unique premise of a high school girl reincarnated as a spider-like creature. The show successfully blends humor and action, making it a delightful watch for fans of the genre. However, it may suffer from pacing issues and overwhelming world-building. Our main character is absolutely amazing, a female character who not only gets to be badass, not only gets to be openly monstrous and brutal, but gets to maintain her cheery, hilarious personality nonetheless. The B-side plots where she doesn't feature aren't as good, being well-executed but fairly generic isekai fantasy with some interesting worldbuilding twists and character moments. I feel like a fair amount was lost in the novel-to-anime transition, but I still absolutely recommend this.
