Nordic Noir(tm) specializes in appalling, horrifying deaths with complex plots behind them, sort of to distract from how mundane most crime really is. This one starts as an interesting mystery, gets incoherent, and then knits it together with a feelgood plot about diversity. It basically fades away despite some cool performances and turns into a The Guardian editorial.
