Sang-goo abandons his children to fight for the rights he has been ridden of and Soo-bong, the eldest son, acts as the actual breadwinner of the family with various part-time jobs. The boy takes care of the family's daily routine instead of his father who is a story illustrator. He struggles with daily life that is nothing alike the fairytales he's read but realizes the values of family and the true meaning of happiness.
