Season 1: Really just HOME AND AWAY with a bit of an artistic bent, but be damned if the cumulative efforts of a likable cast, and attractive beach-set cinematography, don’t eventually wear you into submission – the conflicts here are store-worn from any other soapie you can think of (and Summer herself doesn’t really provide the abrasive friction promised in early episodes), but as a teen-focused diversion, it’s good fun and leaves you wanting a Season 2.
