Certainly much better than most high budget films, set in same time and place. Although most of the actors aren't well known, they've really good.A.Riseborough deserves special mention for her talent and appearance. Unfortunately it's quite obvious that it should be longer(they intended to shoot 12 episodes, made only 4) and despite good stiching everything still goes too fast towards end. Also a bit too much nudity for my taste.

Due to my recent interest in Michael Fassbender, I picked this up. Didn't expect that it would actually be a very well done mini series. Acting from all parts were fantastic. An engrossing story that held strong as well as interesting over its 180 minute running time.
