Definitely not to be confused with the Bette Davis movie "The Letter". Solid '70's TV kitsch, it feels like an extended episode of The Love Boat (minus most of the boat) or Fantasy Island--which it comes by honestly, since it's produced by the same people. Almost worth sitting through for Barbara Stanwyck's turn alone. And Leslie Nielsen plays a concert pianist (!).
