Born in California, Regina's acting career started in the early 90's with such films as 'Boyz N The Hood' and 'Poetic Justice' as well as playing 'Brenda Jenkins' in the TV Series '227'. Regina later took lead roles in films such as 'Down To Earth', 'Daddy Day Care' and 'Ray'.

She caught the acting bug when she was 7 years-old after seeing the Sound of Music performed at the infamous Music Circus. She began her studies as one of the youngest students of the American Conservatory Theater. Soon she headed to Los Angeles and started working as a regular comedic actress for the Tonight Show.
