Overlong and overdrawn attempt to reconcile police brutality, entrenched racism, same sex couplings (keep throwing darts at your woke dart board!) has its heart in the right place, presenting its characters as equally flawed and prone to bad judgement, but sputters too often with groan-inducing exposition and slapdash efforts to be all things to all people. Generally decent performances help (especially Corinealdi), but Wyle's "playing to the cheap seats" gay persona becomes quickly wearying.
