Great show, great drama. It never loss its saga-style aspect from the beginning. It is like you are watching a faithful epic saga-novel adaptation. Cast is amazing, dialogues are amazing, production quality is way better for its age and storytelling has so much fanciness. Three Kingdoms TV series is truely epic beyond words. It is easily better than American Historical - Fantasy TV Series such as Rome, Game of Thrones or Vikings. One of the best epic tale as a series.

The show has amazing intrigue and lots of interesting and well developed characters. The action scenes could be pretty crappy, but the liveliness of the drama and the great pacing and dialog more than made up for it. The creators of the show displayed a great understanding of both the novel and the history whilist also creating their own interpretation of the era. It's a bit of departure from other 3K stuff, since it's more about its characters than the set pieces.
