Helen is incensed when rumors spread around town that she and Andy are engaged. She's sure Andy had something to do with it but its all news to him as well. It seems that Goober and Barney went to an auction where the Deputy bought an old game made up of an oil lamp and Tarot-like cards. As a result of a series of coincidences, Barney comes to believe that it can make your wishes come true. He gives Opie three wishes.
