Born in Tennessee, Elise founded her love for acting at a young age entering into musical theatre before making her way into film and TV. She started out in TV shows such as Law & Order and The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air in the early 90's before moving into films roles, including playing Hallie in Scream 2. Her most notable roles have been in 2005's Hustle & Flow as Key's wife Yevette, and her role as Tia in the TV series All Of Us.
