As lightning strikes in the museum, Cleo Carter, a pre-teen girl, brings a mummy back to life after chasing her cat, Luxor. Luxor acquires his power of speech here, and says that it's his duty to protect and aid the mummy, Tut. This is where they all become friends, and encounter Set and his minions for the first time.
