An impressive collection of found footage, as well as interviews with surviving cast members. Unfortunately, while I've of course seen several Chaplin films, I feel that really appreciating this documentary requires a more substantial familiarity with his work -- hence the regrettably mediocre score.

An amazing examination of Chaplin's working style and techniques using footage never intended to be seen. The immensely knowledgeable Brownlow and Gill do this sort of thing with ease.
