It would be easy to negatively judge the cashed-up yuppies (I just did) for their frivolous and ephemeral adventures in the blinding white and neon colours (this was the early 1990s after all, the brighter the clothes the better) of Aspen. Particularly in contrast to the graft of the locals. But Wiseman is better than this, and more to the point he is not interested in doing so. He wants to document, and here he honestly presents the machinations of this Colorado resort community.
