“Back to Black” explores Amy Winehouse’s life with passion and tragedy. Marisa Abela shines as Amy, but the film focuses too much on her relationships, overshadowing her music career. The middle section drags, and some secondary characters are less memorable. Engaging and emotional, but not a frequent rewatch.
