Backtrace

Compared to other action stars of the 90s Sly has appeared in very few direct-to-streaming duds, but I guess even he needs a big paycheck at times and so he appears in this poor crime movie in a glorified cameo as a cop. A role which gives Sly nothing to do at all. Matthew Modine meanwhile headlines as a amnesiac bank robber who decade later is given an experimental drug to remember where they hid their stash. It's all extremely by the numbers and utterly forgettable.
