Best of the Best 2

The violence in this movie inspired the most gleeful giggling I've ever heard out of myself. Basically an hour and 40 minutes of well-choreographed fights and mullets.

Eric Roberts couldn't act himself out of a dry shallow ditch, and the movie seems to be aware of this as it opts to write him out of the movie after a good amount of time. Despite the headlining actor's terribleness and a myriad of other weird acting and pacing choices, the movie manages to be incredible fun thanks to the amazing fight scenes filled with uncut bone breakings and incredible choreography and the film being self-aware enough to not take itself seriously.

Better than the first one, cause this one at least doesn't shy away from what is; a cheesy action movie instead of a serious sports movie.

I have to admit that this is a guilty pleasure of mine. It's very cheesy, but it's also a lot of fun. Ralf Moeller makes a great and often (un?)intentionally hilarious villain, with Wayne Newton gleefully hamming it up. I might have even considered rating this higher, except (ack!) there's another horrible child actor.
