Carnival

The fatherly side of Lee Tracy. He lives a unsuitable vaudeville life. No place to raise a kid on your own (mother died giving birth) according to the authorities, so Lee skips with the newborn until he can come up with a better plan. To help him he's got "The Schnozzle" Jimmy Durante and potential substitute mother Sally Eilers.... and it's all sweet and puppetee. And it all goes down way too easy, if you ask me. Simple smile maker, unremarkable, with likable characters.
