Connecting Rooms

Strange soap opera based on what couldn't have been a very good play. The two basic story lines--the "adults", played be Davis and Redgrave, and the dumb, "mod" kids (Kanner and someone named Olga Georges-Picot who really can't act)--intersect at a couple of points with unfortunate results. (Kanner's Mickey is an especially repellent character.) Davis and Redgrave do their best with their not-particularly-well-conceived parts, and the ONLY moments that feel real come in their scenes together.
