While it's not great, this is a good vehicle for Tang, who gets to be a stuck up, spoiled rich girl at the beginning, lose everything, grow up, and earn her redemption by becoming a good mother and find true love at the end. It's also a window on the place America held in the Chinese imagination circa 2013, the land of adventure and romance.
