It would be almost beyond the credibility of a Hollywood script, and yet it happened. Weird how the second European cup is a footnote, but the archive clips of Cloughie and some of the talking heads make it work.

Fairly nuts and bolts telling of a pretty incredible sporting story. Some of the talking heads are a bit more interesting than others (Kenny Burns and Larry Lloyd spring to mind), but it's really the archive clips of Cloughie that make it.

I'm not a Nottingham Forest fan but this is a superb, and endearing, retelling of the miracle by the banks of the River Trent as a run of the mill second division side rose in short time to be Champions of Europe (twice!)
